An entertaining 3D movie at
EPCOT starring the cast of
Honey, I Shrunk the
Kids. The plot is this: The
Imagination Institute is presenting the
Inventor
of the year award. This year's winner is
Wayne Szalinski, the inventor of the
shrinking machine. He gives a demonstration, and the machine goes
haywire
and shrinks the audience. It's surprisingly realistic, thanks to
hydraulics
underneath the
theater and the safety glasses you wear, which are actually
polarized 3D glasses. Combined with a few tricks behind the seat in front of
you, the effect is perfect. The lines can get really long, however, and the
pre-show is nothing but a 10 minute ad for
Kodak.
