The one and only turn based
RPG, other than
Quest 64, for the
N64. It had a
unique fighting system that allowed the user to learn the opponent’s attacks, the only catch; the computer must successfully use it on you first.
The game's plot is pretty decent, but the "FMV" sequences were crap. There are just 2 and they just have the main character (not even rendered, and it looked like a old Japanese movie with the lips not in sync.) One was at the beginning of the game, the other at the end.
The play control more than made up for the crap cinematics, and for the hardcore RPG player, you might just be surprised by what you see. This game is a must rent, maybe a potential buy.
