Ever sit at home wondering, "Lord have mercy, I sho' is hungry!" But you dont know quite
what to eat? Well, then why not have some
Easy Mannicotti Lasagna? Here's the recipe...by the way, this serves 5-6 hungry little hoodlums, so invite your
friends over :)
Ingrediants:1 lb. ground
beef1 small
onion (chopped)
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced
tomatoes with italian seasoning (whatever that means)
1 can (6 oz.) Italian style
tomatoe paste8 rosetto
manicottiMozzarella cheese, graded (use as much as you feel is right)
Directions1. For the sauce, in a medium
skillet, cook
beef and
onion on medium-high
heat until beef is
brown and onion is
tender; drain.
2. Add tomatoes, tomatoe paste, and 1/2 cups of
water; blend well. Add
salt and pepper to taste, and heat through
3. Spoon half the sace in a 8x8x2" baking
dish. Place frozen
manicotti over the mixture. Spoon remaining sauce over the manicotti. Cover and bake in an over at 400 degrees Farehnheit for 40 minutes.
4. Spinkle with
mozarella cheese to taste and bake in over for an additional 5 minutes.
