Conolophus spp.:
Land Iguanas. Different authorities say that there are either one or two
species of this
iguana. They are entirely restricted to the
Galapagos. Adults average 3.5 feet.
Conolophus subcristatus:
Galapagos Land Iguana. The most well known species of this iguana.
Conolophus pallidus:
Galapagos Land Iguana. The 'second' species of Land Iguana on the Galapagos Islands. Depending
on the authority, this species may be identical to C. subcristata.
