Small
town on the Overlander's Way in Northern
Queensland. This tiny
town was established more than 100 years ago and was a staging post for Cobb & Co
coaches as well as a
social gathering point for the graziers whose vast property surround it. It is best known for it's
pub, the "
Walkabout Creek Hotel" which, together with other buildings in the
town, featured in the movie "
Crocodile Dundee".
