Mono Puff is headed by John Flansburgh (lead singer, various instruments), and also includes Hal Cragin on bass, Steve Calhoon on drums, Joe McGinty on keyboard, DJ ***** Spicy (Phil Hernandez) on turntable, and Sister Puff (Robin Goldwasser) as vocalist. The best thing about Mono Puff is the amazing variety of musical styles found on their albums. Some of it is quite TMBG-like, such as I hit my head, but there are examples of surf rock, funk, disco, pop, and hard(ish) rock.
