Primrose Hill is an area of
North-West London, also
lyricised by
St. Etienne in
Girl VII.
The hill itself is a park, and a popular place for North Londoners to go for picnics, sunbathing and kite-flying in the summer, and the renowned firework display in the winter, and affords excellent views across the city.
The area is very near Camden and Swiss Cottage, and in recent years has become particularly affluent and fashionable, partly due to the fact that it has no tube station.
It is on bus routes, most notably the 31, and is home to quite a few famous people who tend to congregate in gastro-pubs, such as The Queens.
