Today's
gospel reading was about a
wedding feast at
Cana.
Jesus, and his family, were in attendance. Now, as almost every
Christian should know, the wine ran out and
Jesus changed the water into wine.
It's a good story. The first
miracle. Just to play
devil's advocate, let's look at the
water, the
barrels, and the
wine.
The
barrels which held the water held 20 to 30
gallons. There were six such
barrels. This made somewhere between 120 and 180
gallons of wine. Also, the
Bible reads that this was
"good wine." Jesus not only made a lot of
wine, but he made a lot of
"good" wine.
