Season 1886/87
Season 1886/87 saw Tottenham Hotspur enter the East End Cup as well as
the London Cup. In the East End Cup they managed to get all the way to the
final where they met Caledonians. The final was decided on The Marshes on
Saturday 16 April 1887, but Tottenham were to lose by the only goal of the
game, a low shot which skidded through the legs of the goalkeeper.
