asteroid (570 x 525 x 482 miles in diameter). At the time of this writeup, from an Earth-bound vantage point
Pallas Athena is currently placed within the constellation of
Scorpio. It lives in the asteroid belt between the orbits of
Mars and
Jupiter, and takes over four and a half years to complete a circuit of the
sun. It's
orbit is
elliptical and
stable. To
rotate completely on it's own
axis takes just under eight hours.
