I am still awake.
Since
yesterday, my eyes have been open and I am still
listening to the
city outside my window. After
walking around aimlessly earlier on, I am glad to be inside. I've got the
lights off and the blinds wide open. I can hear
sirens on the other side of the
valley driving closer to the
hospital not far from here.
Bass from stereos fades in and out as carloads of partiers come home from clubland.
Soon,
everything will be
awake again.
I'm burning
Nag Champa along with the
midnight oil tonight, its
aroma is calming. The
wind is stirring the
shrubs around my
window and its a natural
white nose. For once, I am relaxed.
I should really get some
sleep.
