Dazzling Angel is a card in the recently released Foundations set of Magic: The Gathering. It is legal in all formats, has a base power of 2/3, and requires two generic mana and one white mana. What makes this card especially interesting is its attribute, "Whenever another creature you control enters, you gain 1 life.".

This means the card can be played in conjunction with Angel of Vitality, another mono-white angel card from the same set with the same mana cost, which reads: "Whenever you would gain life, you gain that much life plus one. This creature gets +2/+2 as long as you have 25 or more life." With these two cards in play, a person could play Healer's Hawk, a 1/1 card with a mana cost of one, with lifelink; when this card is played, the player would gain two life, and then upon attacking with the card, the player gains 2 more life. Additionally, because this is an angel card, if the player has Giada, Font of Hope, whose text reads: "Each other Angel you control enters with an additional +1/+1 counter on it for each Angel you already control." Giada requires only two mana, one generic and one white; this means that the player can play Giada with only two lands, and then upon playing a third land could subsequently play Dazzling Angel and then Angel of Vitality and then whatever other angel cards you have. Once you have enough mana to play an angel card and have one or more mana left over, this allows a person to play both the angel and Healer's Hawk. You can also play Vanguard Seraph, a 4-mana card from the same set, which reads: "Whenever you gain life for the first time, surveil one", or you could play Inspiring Overseer, a 3 mana card from the same set, "When this creature enters, gain 1 life and draw a card",

Cool card. Having a couple of these in play has gotten me to well over 30 life some games.
