Radio program heard Saturday nights 10-midnight Central Time originating from KRLD in Dallas, and also broadcast on other stations, most notably KTSA in San Antonio where it is available on Real Audio. The show, hosted by former disk jockey George Gimarc features snippets of unusual recordings from Gimarc's personal collection (rumored to be around 60,000 or so) as well as old commercials and occasionally interviews with those who made these strange things happen. Gimarc is also the co-author of Hollywood Hi-Fi, which looks at celebrities such as William Shatner and Crispin Glover who should never have been allowed within 10 feet of a recording studio.
Update:
Due to the ongoing problems with AFTRA, Gimarc can no longer be heard online.
