Actress
Nicole Kidman has been frequently referred to as a "strawberry tart" in several of her films, most notably
Far and Away and
Moulin Rouge. Her
characters were often called this behind their back by
lecherous,
exploitive, or just plain
horny males. The
expression refers to her
red hair and
general attractiveness. In both
previously mentioned cases, Kidman's character was either a
stripper or was
posing as one.
Oops - upon rewatching Moulin Rouge, it seems that she is called a strawberry, not a strawberry tart. At any rate, the general sentiment is the same.
