Saturday Night Live these days,
Weekend Update is a light-hearted
romp through the
news of the past
week or so. Currently hosted by the dynamic duo
Jimmy Fallon and
Tina Fey; previous desk-occupiers include
Colin Quinn,
Norm MacDonald,
Chevy Chase,
Dan Aykroyd and
Jane Curtin,
Bill Murray,
Dennis Miller and
Kevin Nealon.
Not always nearly as funny as the Ambiguously Gay Duo, but consistently the high-water mark of the show. Basically, if the skits leading up to WU are acceptable, the show is a success.
