It's really hot.

Okay, it's not, like, Darwin hot. Not Townsville hot. But it's hot for Canberra.

It's 11pm and my house is 30oC inside. Quite pleasant, compared to what it was at 3pm.

This is the kind of weather you have to put stuff in the fridge. Not just the usual fridge stuff. I mean the stuff that says on the bottle, 'Do Not Refrigerate' in big scary letters.

Things That Go In The Fridge (Summer Edition)

  1. Nutella
  2. Ice Magic
  3. Chocolate
  4. Jelly Babies (I bet you didn't know jelly babies could melt. Gummi bears are even worse.)
  5. Peanut butter
  6. Tomato sauce
  7. Fruit that usually sits on the kitchen bench, like apples
  8. Biscuits (chocolate biscuits)
  9. Bread
  10. Cake
  11. red wine
  12. Your hard drive (just for a little while. Just until it calms down enough to function.)
  13. All your medicine (have you ever checked? They mostly say 'store below 30oC'.)

In north America there are severe cold snaps and roads are blocked because of the snow. Here in Australia, the roads are melting.
