Well, I should've actually posted this on the day, but other stuff was going on, so here goes!
Today is the day I turned 65. Now, back when I was a lot younger, that age was OLD. It used to be the standard retirement age (that age now goes up depending on when you were born - mine, for example, would be 67). This, and the fact that I retired from work on January 5th, means it's a bit of a change time for me.
I don't usually feel 65 and, according to my BriarCub, don't look it (and isn't he sweet); and in my head I've stopped somewhere around 37 or so. Really, to me, it was a bigger deal when I turned 60. Now I have a legitimate excuse for being grumpy.
