In school today we had to have an extra minute of silence because of the terrorist attacks. Normally we only have one for "prayer" if someone were so inclined so religious fanatics quit whining but no one is really imposed upon; I think both are equally pointless. No one prays or meditates or whatever they might do during the regular moment of silence, half of the kids whisper anyways. The second minute, after a little speech about 9/11 we've all heard 8 times, everyone was silent, and maybe a good number of them were remembering or praying for dead people or survivors or whatever they were supposed to do, but it still changes nothing. Dead will remain dead, those that have lost loved ones won't have life any easier because some school children thought about them for a minute.
