This is an
excellent Irish pub near
Pike Place Market in
Seattle. This is one of those
places that looks
small from the
outside, but really has
pool tables,
darts,
three bars, and
food.
I've been to a lot of places across the United States, but in all the toilet stalls and urinal walls in all the dive bars and cheesy dance clubs and decrepit truck stops I've passed through, I have never seen bathroom graffitti as humorous as that in the Owl and Thistle.
A sample:
Written above the sink is "Where have all the cowboys gone?"
Below, in different handwriting, is written "Up that hoe's ass!"
Further below, in a third handwriting, are "Yippee oh yippee yay!"
And this is just a sample. The bathroom walls are covered. This is a great place to get some Guinness and some pub food.
