Cartoon that ran on
Nick Jr. during the late
80's.
When I was a little kid watching the old school Nick Jr. lineup, which included such gems as Noozles, Sharon Lois and Braham's Elephant Show and Pinwheel, David the Gnome seemed pretty boring in comparison. I would watch it anyway. Now that I'm older, I appreciate the fairy tale world of David, and his fox companion and the evil troll antagonists. The synthesizer based theme song, in classic 80's style, remains fresh in my mind, despite me being 4 or 5 years old when last hearing it.
